Scottish Pharmacy Advisory Council

The Scottish Pharmacy Advisory Council shapes policy, and supports the implementation of strategy, relevant to devolved health system within Scotland. Elected Council members support professional development and represent the College. 

It’s made up of 9 elected members, who are all members of the College and current registrants of the GPhC. The Council champions the role of pharmacy in Scotland at all levels and sectors, though its work with the NHS leadership, government, academia, the voluntary sector, patient groups and other stakeholders. The Council is a touchpoint for all College members, ensuring diverse views are heard.

Meeting dates

The Scottish Pharmacy Advisory Council meets four times a year, with two of these meetings typically being joint council meetings with England and Wales.
