Phenoxymethylpenicillin 250 mg/5ml Sugar free Oral Solution BP

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has published a class 2 medicines recall. Bristol Laboratories Limited is recalling one batch of Phenoxymethylpenicillin 250 mg/5 ml Oral Solution Sugar Free due to product labelling issues.

Pharmacists are advised to stop supplying the specified batch immediately. Quarantine all remaining stock and return it to your supplier using your supplier’s approved process. There is further advice under actions to take to contact patients where batch traceability is or is not available.
