Oral lidocaine products authorised for teething in children are pharmacy medicines. Parents and caregivers are provided with additional guidance, including how to manage infant teething symptoms, the dose, administration advice and when to seek medical attention, in the patient information leaflet. We worked with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to develop this guide for pharmacists.
